The opening of the Tennyson Centre at Kurralta Park in Adelaide in June 2009 has generated considerable interest within the medical community. The construction of this centre was managed by National Day Surgeries Pty Ltd (NDS) personnel and the project was a collaboration between NDS and various medical groups. National Day Surgeries is actively seeking sites and expressions of interest from Surgeons for similar projects.

The Tennyson Centre is a specialist oncology centre which is the first of its type in South Australia. It is a fully integrated oncology treatment facility comprising specialist service providers in the fields of Oncology, Radiology, Radiotherapy and Pathology, as well as a TGA approved drug compounding facility (Pharmacy). The centre also houses the Tennyson Centre Day Hospital, the Tennyson Infusion Centre and rooms for a range of specialist disciplines including Ophthalmology, Urology, Gastroenterology and Endocrinology.
